Yeo Farm is a small country estate nestling in the picturesque hamlet of Waterrow on the Somerset/Devon border at the foot of the Brendon Hills. Walkers and dog owners are welcome at these adult only farm cottages. Comprising some 40 acres of woodland, pasture, ponds and the River Tone, the farm also has fishing rights for over half a mile, and a riverside walk has been made to enjoy the natural flora and fauna present in this area. The 16th-century farmhouse has been restored and is the home of the resident owners, whilst the cottages (Refs ERE, ERF, and ERG) have been sympathetically converted from former farm buildings and comprise three adjoining character cottages, which enjoy wonderful views over the estate. The cottages have been renovated and refurbished to a high standard, and offer all modern conveniences and comfort in this stunning setting.
Yeo Farm provides an excellent base for countryside pursuits and walking, with the Brendons, Quantocks and Blackdown Hills nearby and Exmoor on the doorstep. Horses are welcome. Many historic houses and gardens in the vicinity. Coast 13 miles. Manor Mill nestles amongst the soft green hills of Somerset and occupies the south side of an enchanting wooded valley, beside the River Tone. This converted water mill and its neighbouring barns, which date back to the 17th century, have been sympathetically converted to provide charming, comfortable and well-appointed self-catering country cottages with picturesque views of the river. The extensive 3½-acre grounds surrounding the mill are a haven of fields, water meadows and delightfully cultivated gardens, with many beautiful and rare shrubs, and is a haven for wildlife of all kinds.
Each of the six charming holiday cottages is well equipped including all linen and towels. Manor Mill has a secluded heated indoor swimming pool with an outside sun terrace, and a stone barbecue which offers the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening - eating or drinking to the accompaniment of the rippling sound of the River Tone. The children’s play area is a haven for fun, complete with swings, slides, a miniature fortress and large trampoline. A selection of video, board games, books and magazines are also available to borrow. The extensive grounds and idyllic surroundings offer a wonderfully relaxing location and a delightful rural retreat.
Manor Mill, located on the Devon border, provides an excellent base for touring the West Country, with easy access to the Quantock Hills, the coast of south Devon and north Somerset and on the edge of the glorious wilderness of Exmoor. It offers a delightful and rural location and a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere - the perfect antidote to everyday living.
A private dining lodge, located in a secluded part of the grounds, is also available for hire. From private celebrations, to weddings and children’s parties, the lodge can accommodate up to 20 guests. The resident owners can adapt food, drink and room dressing requirements as requested.

Pytt House is ideally situated for exploring the unspoilt countryside of Somerset and is within easy access of picturesque villages and bustling markets. The small market town of Wellington is 7 miles, and the historic market town of Taunton is just 11 miles, with all the top names in shopping, eating, drinking and leisure entertainment. Oak Manor Golf Club is 8 miles away. For those who love walking, the Quantocks, the Blackdown Hills and Exmoor are close by and are wonderfully unspoilt and peaceful. Horse riding, fishing, golf, bird watching and water sports are available locally and there are many places to visit including Crealy Adventure Park. Exeter with its fabulous cathedral, many shops, canal and quaint hidden pubs is close by.
