In an idyllic location, with a small stream running through the valley, this cottage full of charm, with its stone floors and wooden beams, has been tastefully furnished and has a large upstairs living room with a woodburner, leading out onto a balcony. You can unwind with some stunning country walks through woodlands and the moors, go horse-riding, fishing or cycling in this unspoilt area, or visit the many attractions within easy driving.

Minehead is a must with its Somerwest World Theme Park, sandy beach and scenic steam railway for a trip back in time to Bishop’s Lydeard. There is also the fascinating magical medieval Dunster Castle, Mill and Deer Park, Tropiquaria, and towards Tiverton Knightshayes Court and Gardens (NT), which will make for a great holiday.
