Glastonbury Tor, Wells Cathedral city, Longleat, Stourhead House and Gardens are all within easy driving, not to mention the many historic houses. Located in the last parish in Somerset, it makes an ideal base for touring the whole of Somerset as well as Dorset with a wide range of attractions to suit all tastes which include Roman Baths, Longleat Safari Park, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Clarkes Village at Street, Cheddar Gorge, National Trust properties and gardens and much more. The Dorset coastline is a 25 mile drive and offers a range of sheltered coves and sandy beaches. The regional town of Yeovil is less than 1 mile away and offers a range of leisure facilities, cinema, shops, pubs and restaurants. Explore the land with large communal grounds with sheep, chickens and horses and a pleasant stream running through.

The cottage is ideally situated for exploring both Somerset and Dorset and is only 4 miles away from the market town of Yeovil that is situated in the South Somerset countryside. The surrounding area offers delightful rural walks, with the nearby Norman church being well worth a visit and the pretty village of East Coker, beloved by T. S. Elliot. For those who wish to stay closer to home, you may wander freely around the farm and explore all it has to offer including ducks, hens, guinea fowl, sheep and horses. There is also a field and stabling available at an extra cost.
