The location is peaceful and rural, and yet within minutes of many attractions and famous sites, including the Roman spa city of Bath with its Georgian architecture and spa baths, the city of Wells and its magnificent cathedral and medieval streets, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole and papermill, Longleat Safari Park, and Babington House. For walkers and cyclists, there is much to offer on the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels. Shop 31/2 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
