Set amongst 8 acres of fields and farmland, Sharpenton Lodge is situated on the edge of the village of Moorlinch with far reaching views over the RSPB nature reserve and land of special scientific interest on the Somerset Levels. On a clear day you can see for miles around. Moorlinch itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub providing good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including the towns of Glastonbury with its Tor and Abbey, shop at the Clarks retail village in Street, or visit Cheddar Gorge and the Cathedral City of Wells. There are many National Trust properties in the locality or you can enjoy a walk over the Quantock Hills, all this within an hours drive. A little further out lie the historic City of Bath and Exmoor National Park. Set in a peaceful countryside setting, yet only 2.5 miles from the town of Bridgwater, these newly converted grade II listed semi detached cottages are set in one of the most beautiful parts of Somerset close to the Quantock Hills which offer wonderful walking, from leisurely strolls to more challenging walks, including the Coleridge Way. Other attractions within easy reach include Clarks Shopping Village, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, West Somerset Steam Railway, Roman Bath, numerous National Trust properties and Cricket St Thomas being just a few. Exmoor is just a short drive away or you can simply relax in your private patio area and enjoy a glass of wine and a BBQ while the children play in the adjoining paddock.

Both cottages are newly renovated to an excellent standard and form the wing of a 17th century/medieval Somerset longhouse with a working farm next door.
