Come and see the historic, water-powered sawmill at Simonsbath in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. 'Drop in' tours available all day.

Simonsbath Sawmill Open Day - Drop In Tours

No booking necessary but it is advisable to ring the mill on 01643 831202 (between 10am and 4pm) on the day before you set off.

There is usually some parking available (at your own risk) at the mill and we can make special arrangements for visitors with limited mobility if you contact them in advance. Please note that there are no public toilets at the mill.

You may find it preferable to park at Ashcombe Car Park, Simonsbath - entrance between the church and the Exmoor Forest Inn - SS774394. where there are toilets, and to walk the 500m to the mill but do take special care on this busy road! Recommended route through the meadow at SS77353915.
