Creative Textile Workshops: Fragile Forms

5th November, 10am-4pm: Fabulous Foliage
Learn the art of silk ribbon embroidery.

The glorious foliage colours of Autumn will be our central theme as we combine ribbon and simple surface stitchery to achieve a stunning effect. This hand-embroidery technique is very easy to master and can be addictive!
All abilities are welcome.

12th November, 10am-4pm: Autumn Garland
Using a wide selection of sumptuous fabrics and threads you will be creating your own hand-embellished Autumn Garland, bursting with seasonal foliage, fruits and berries.

Easy hand embroidery stitches will be used in your design. All abilities are welcome, although some basic experience would be an advantage.
Friendly guidance will be given in each stage of the process.
All materials are included.

19th November, 10am-4pm: Fragile Forms
Learn how to capture the delicate architectural beauty of different seed heads, grasses and cobwebs through simple stitch techniques.

Guidance will be given at each stage of your design to help you create your own framed piece.

Some experience in basic hand embroidery skills would be an advantage.
All materials are included.
