Uphill Slipway
Uphill Slipway lies immediately north and east of the headland of Brean Down near Weston Super Mare in Somerset.
Uphill beach lies seawrd of the village of Uphill, at the southern end of Weston-super-Mare beach. Sandy in nature, it faces northwest into the Bristol channel and offers a range of facilities including shops, toilets, disabled toilets and slipway. Parking and disabled parking are available. it is even possible to park along the back of the beach.
The beach is popular with kitesurfers and also windsurfers. The nearby marina and boatyard may be of interest to boat owners whilst the Brean Down Nature Reserve is a great place to spot all types of wildllife.
Keen ramblers will enjoy walking north along the beach to Weston and Sand Bay or south over Brean Down to Berrow and Burnham-on-Sea.
