Exmoor Pony Centre

Welcome to the Exmoor Pony Centre, within the heart of the Exmoor National Park. This exciting new project is the culmination of 7 years hard work by The Moorland Mousie Trust, a registered charity dedicated to the promotion and conservation of the Exmoor Pony, currently classified as a rare breed.

The Centre offers half day experiences with the ponies, which include a good two hour ride, giving those competent at walk, trot and canter in open spaces a picturesque hack over Winsford Hill which might take in the ancient Tarr Steps, the spectacular views over the Punch Bowl, or the curious Caractacus Stone, as well as encountering the resident herds of Exmoor ponies, whose ancestors have roamed free for hundreds, if not thousands of years, and much more of the abundant wildlife which makes Exmoor so special.
