Wheddon Cross village, Somerset
Wheddon Cross is an Exmoor village in the west of Somerset. It lies in the parish of Cutcombe about 9 miles south of Minehead. Whedon Cross is one of the higher villages within the Exmoor National Park at 980 feet above sea level on a ridge between Exmoor and the Brendon Hills. The parish has a population of just over 400 inhabitants.
