St. Margarets Hospice Community Coffee Morning at Dulverton
A Free Community Late Breakfast/Coffee morning to promote St Margaret's Hospice in Somerset.
St. Margaret's Hospice would like to invite local residents to join them for a late breakfast of coffee, tea and pastries at the Downstairs Hall, Dulverton Town Hall, 27 Fore Street, Dulverton TA22 9EX on Thursday 4th April at 10.00am.
This will be an ideal opportunity to meet the new West Somerset Community Fundraiser, Kara Frampton, who will update you on opportunities to support St. Margaret's Hospice in West Somerset.
We are planning to recruit new Community Champions in the area - people who understand the activities that the hospice undertakes who can assist us in dispelling some of the myths about what a hospice actually offers, which may prevent residents from accessing our free services.
The morning will take a relaxed format, with a quiz and a short presentation from staff about the care that we provide at both our In-patient units and throughout our local community. It is also an opportunity to find out more about how our wonderful volunteers help us, from offering as little as just an hour of their time a year, having a home collecting pot or joining their local community fundraising group. All of this assists us to raise the £26,000 daily that we need in order to keep our services available to the Somerset community.
We do hope you will be able to join us, and please do feel free to pass this invitation to anyone you feel may also be interested in our work.
