St. Margaret's Hospice would like to invite local residents to join them for coffee and cakes on Monday 25th March at 10.30am at Wincanton Memorial Hall, Wincanton BA9 9JF. Meet the Community Fundraiser, Terena Gill, who will update you on opportunities to support St. Margaret's Hospice in Somerset.
We are planning to recruit new Community Champions in the area - people who understand the hospice's activities and can assist in dispelling some of the myths about hospice functions, which may prevent residents from accessing our free services.
The morning will take a relaxed format, with a quiz and a short presentation from staff about the care that we provide at our In-patient units and throughout our local community. Find out more about how our wonderful volunteers help us, from offering as little as just an hour of their time a year, having a home collecting pot or joining their local community fundraising group. All of this assists us to raise the £26,000 DAILY that we need to run our services in the Somerset community.
We hope you will be able to join us, and please do pass this invitation to anyone you feel may be interested in our work.
