A Lecture by local sculptor Peter Robinson, exploring the relationship between Ice Age Art and contemporary art. The lecture takes place alongside the WAC exhibition; doors will open at 7.00pm so that those going to the lecture can also look around the exhibition.

–'Continuum: the modern art of prehistory' – a lecture by Peter Robinson 8pm – 9.15pm
The first annual Commemorative Lecture in memory of the late Kate Noble, Somerset artist
(This is part of the Wells Art Contemporary exhibition)

Peter Robinson is a local sculptor, expert on prehistoric art and editor of the Bradshaw Foundation. He will be exploring the relationship between Ice Age Art and contemporary art: how an artistic understanding of the former can help engage a modern audience. He will be providing images and the lecture will take place amidst the WAC Rewind Exhibition curated from work by the contemporary artists who have been previous winners in the WAC Open Competition over the last four years.
The doors will open at 7.00pm so that those going to the lecture can also look round the exhibition in the Palace. The lecture will finish at 9.15pm.
