A Mud and Sand beach with numerous rocks and rock pools. Tides here are fast to rise and the mud can be thick, so extreme care should be taken. This is a good place to look for fossils. The beach can be accessed from the nearby Doniford Halt Station (request stop) on the West Somerset Railway between Minehead and Bishop's Lydeard, Taunton. Local facilities include toilets, disabled toilets, shops, slipway and a campsite. Parking is available. Things to do include looking for fossils and exploring the rock pools. The walk to nearby Watchet to explore the town and harbour is also pleasant.
